If there is one trend I am super excited about for Spring it’s pastels, especially lilac. I’ve already invested in a lilac top and can’t wait to add more to my collection. This color is everywhere right now making it easy to find affordable pieces to fit anyone’s budget.
How to wear it: If you’re a little afraid of rocking a spring color while the weather is still cool, add lilac to your wardrobe by investing in accessories. Earrings, necklaces and bags are all a great way to add a little color to a drab winter wardrobe (check out this great bracelet too). If you’re ready to rock spring colors now, pick up some colored skinnies (also available at Forever 21 for $24.80 here) then throw on a collared shirt and a neutral sweater to complete your look! Lastly, if you’re looking for something that will transition well from winter to spring, invest in a lilac dress. A lightweight, long sleeve shirt dress will work perfectly for the office and a night out and you can add tights underneath for extra warmth.
